Awards for Kronospan

Friday, the 22th of April 2010 was a celebration day at Kronospan Romania SRL. The company received on the same day two important awards from the Employment Agency of the District of Braşov and from the Chamber and Commerce and Industry of Braşov.
As such Kronospan received from the Employment Agency of the District of Braşov the award for the most jobs posted in course of the year 2009. 2009 Kronospan employed about 200 persons. This was a real success for the Kronospan team, in a year marked by the economic crisis, when the unemployment rate reached alarming levels all over the country. 270 persons are already employed in the new plant. We speak about a young, professional team, recruited both from Braşov and the neighbouring places such as Codlea, Zărneşti, Săcele, Vulcan, Râşnov, Feldioara. The Kronospan activity in Braşov also generates 3000 indirect places of work, through its partner companies: suppliers of raw materials, forwarding companies, stationary, cleaning, security, catering companies, etc. Kronospan has agreements with hundreds of companies from various fields of activity. For such companies the collaboration with a company of the Kronospan sizes means frequently the survival on the market.
Kronospan was also awarded within the Business Excellence Awards organized by the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Braşov. For the sixth year in a row, Kronospan was ranked as number one among the companies from the district of Braşov, in the field Wholesale distribution, small-sized companies.
